Orto @ Yishun is one of Singapore’s largest recreation parks with a large, scenic lake and a beautiful, tropical greenery. If you are lucky, you can even be mesmerised by the beautiful sunset over the huge lake located in the middle of Orto. Here are some of the activities you can do at Orto.

1. Fishing Paradise – Catch Large Fishes such as Catfish at Orto

Fishing Paradise is located at the heart of Orto, where you can fish at the large lake and see whether you have the skills to catch fishes as heavy as 25kg! If you head down to Orto, you will be able to see many anglers casting their reels at Fishing Paradise as it is one of the popular fishing spots in Singapore!

Expected Damage: $13 – 1hr, $65 – 12 hr (Normal Rates) For Adults after 5pm $45 – 6 hr, For Students/NFS/Retiree $40 – 6hr (Weekday Special Rate)

2. Prawning @ Orto – Enjoy Eating Freshwater Prawns

You can also try out freshwater prawning at Orto and even get to enjoy the freshness of the prawns. Orto has the largest prawning facility in Singapore, so bring along your friends and family to have some bonding time with them! They are known for having many giveaways to bring out your competitive spirit so do try your luck to see if you can win free prawning hours at Orto!

3. Longkang Fishing – Let Your Kids Bring Home Fishes

Orto also has a small pond where you can bring your kids to try out longkang fishing. Longkang fishing is a common activity for kids back in the ol’ days so you can let your kids experience the thrill of catching fishes! For just a small sum, you will be given a plastic tank to keep the fishes that your kids have caught and a net to catch the fishes!

4. Katapult Trampoline Park – Have a Bouncing Good Time

There is even a Trampoline Park that caters to people of all ages and fitness level, making it the perfect place for family, birthday parties, corporate and group events. There are several activity areas you can do there such as slam dunk, dodgeball, wall running free fall into airbag and specialised fitness classes so don’t miss out this opportunity for some bouncing good time!

5. Uber Sports – Be the Next Soccer Star

You can book a soccer court at Uber Sports Orto to kick some balls with your friends and train to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo! Uber Sports also offers top sporting facilities and programs in Singapore, their soccer court is made with top grade artificial turf installations for their customers to have a better playing experience.

6. Explore the Restaurants – Fill Up Your Belly

There are many different restaurants and food you can try out at Orto! Many people head down to Orto to try out Thai Boat Noodles, Mookata and you can even get a glass of ice cold beer after spending an afternoon fishing under the hot sun!

How to Get to Orto

By MRT:

Take the North-South (Red) Line and alight at Khatib MRT station. Upon exiting the gantry, turn to your left, towards Exit B and continue walking for about 8 minutes. We are located opposite Yishun Stadium.

By Bus:

Alight at Yishun Avenue 2 bus stop opposite Yishun Stadium. Bus Services: 39, 85, 117, 851, 852, 853, 854, 855, 857, 858, 965 and 969.

By Car:

From SLE, Use Exit 3 to Lentor Avenue. From Lentor Avenue, turn left into Yishun Avenue 1.

At the traffic light, turn right towards Sembawang Road. Keep right and turn towards Lorong Chencharu.

Free Parking is available at ORTO.
