Priced at only RM 5.50, you get a plate of springy, eggy noodles topped with fatty char siew and a bowl of anchovy flavoured soup with wantons! Ah Piaw Noodle House is also highly raved by locals and you will definitely see a long queue there during lunch house. The stall is also opened 24 hours so even if you are heading to Malaysia for some late night supper, you will still be able to enjoy the best Wanton Noodles in JB!

Restoran Gim Cheng serves a wide variety of traditional old school dim sum that cost less than SDG 3! They serve your classic dim sum such har gao, siew mai and lotus leaf glutinous rice but word of advice, you will have to get there early as many of their items get sold out before 12pm! At Restoran Gim Cheng, there are 3 different stations to order your food – fried food station, steaming station and porridge & bao station, where you will have to queue up at these various stations to order your food.

Of course you must eat Bak Kut Teh when you are in JB! Although Kota Zheng Zong Bak Kut Teh has opened a few outlets in Singapore, it is still better to try out the authentic stalls in JB. Zheng Zong Bak Kut Teh specialises in herbal claypot Bak Kut Teh and you will be able to get a bowl of herbalicious soup with tender pork ribs topped with crispy beancurd skin at only RM 14. At Zheng Zong, you also have many dishes to choose for side dishes such as Otah, You Tiao and Preserved Vegetables at less than RM 5!

Located just across of City Square Mall, you will be able to find Pasar Karat where there are many street food stalls, apparels and accessories at cheap prices! It is definitely bigger and better than the pasar malams in Singapore as you can get better deals and well, better food and the place closes at 2am!

If you are feeling adventurous and want to experience something new in JB, you can take a look at SkyScape. SkyScape is located on the 34th level where you will be taken to the Sky Deck to be treated with a breath taking view of JB and you can even play VR games over there! There is even an observation deck with scopes that can magnify 75x for you to take a look at other buildings in Malaysia if you are not up for the walk around Sky Deck.
