Good Chai People (GCP) is the first ever Chai Cafe in Singapore which is located along Katong area. They serve handmade artisanal sticky chai and freshly baked pastries, but they also have a brunch and mains menu.
GCP believes that Chai has many benefits for one’s health and it will help cheer you up on a bad day, which is why they decided to open a cafe to spread joy.

Take a look at how GCP uses Chai to curate several different drinks – Chai Smoothie, Salted Maple Chai & Pink Chai. Sounds interesting right? They even have a Cheese Board that goes well with their Chai drinks, order it to share the Cheese Board with your friends!

The Nursery Cafe & Bar has immaculate aesthetics and you will be greeted with tall green plants at the entrance of the cafe. This is definitely Insta-worthy as the design of the cafe is really aesthetically pleasing.
If you are looking to enjoy a cup of coffee on a Sunday afternoon to get peace of mind, The Nursery Cafe is for sure the place to go! The best part about this cafe is that it’s pet-friendly, so bring your furry friends along.

Their menu consists of many brunch menu items such as Big Breakfast and HEC Croissant. They also serve Pizzas here if you are looking for something heavier.
If you have a sweet tooth, you should get their Very Berry Waffle or Shibuya Toast to end off your meal. Regardless, this is the best place to visit if you are looking to have some alone time.

Hey Black Bro is a newly opened restaurant that is 3 stories high with karaoke rooms inside the restaurant. At Hey Black Bro, you will be able to enjoy premium meat, fresh seafood platters and BBQ skewers with your friends and family.

If you are in the mood for some drinks, head to the second or third floor of the restaurant as they have a bar there. From Beer to Soju, you want it, they have it.
Just a side note, if you want to use the karaoke rooms, you will have to meet the minimum spending amount before booking a slot. Their karaoke rooms have 3 sizes – Small ($388), Medium ($588) & Large ($888).

Situated in the heartlands of Serangoon/Kovan, Lazy Day Cafe & Bar provides a fusion of Eastern and Western dishes. The 2-story cafe itself has a very cozy vibe so if you are looking for a place to laze around, Lazy Day Cafe is here for you.

Their signature Pulled Pork Toast comes with crispy Sourdough Toast served with some savoury Pulled Pork and Sunny Side Up. They also serve Aburi Mentaiko Salmon Don if you want something more filling.
Something interesting they have is their Croffles, which is mix of Croissant and Waffles. This dessert will certainly cheer you up if you are having a bad day. You will be spoilt with choice as they have many items on their drinks menu. But if you are not sure what to get, you can order “Surprise me!” which is a surprise iced shaken tea that is made by their barista.

This restaurant has minimalistic and modern aesthetics which brightens up the interior part of the restaurant. If you are around Sentosa, you should definitely check out this restaurant.
Parallel Kitchen & Bar has 2 storeys and is located opposite W Hotel. If you are seated on the second floor of the restaurant, you will be able to get a nice view of yachts berthed at the neighbouring wharf.

We all know that the restaurants located in Sentosa cost a bomb compared to other restaurants. At Parallel Kitchen & Bar, they have weekday set lunch that is quite affordable. A 2 course set lunch costs $29 while a 3 course set lunch cost $34, a reasonably priced set meal.
If you are looking for some caffeine in this restaurant, I have some good news for you. Have you ever had a cup of coffee for $2.90 in Sentosa? Here at Parallel Kitchen & Bar, a cup of Americano cost $3.90 while a cup of Cappuccino cost $3.90!
