First and foremost, the ever iconic Singapore Botanic Gardens. One of the many nature trails they have is called the Rainforest Walking Trail. The highlight of this trail is taking a 600m long walk through a mini rainforest right in the heart of town.

Additionally, this natural area is family-friendly thanks to the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden, where kids may run amok and explore the farm, orchard, and woodland that has its own stream and ponds.

Take a walk into the history books. Fort Canning Park is a popular tourist attraction site which features 9 historical gardens all around the area. Feast your eyes on colonial-era relics and the beautiful Sang Nila Utama Garden.

You can choose to create your own trail at your own pace. In total, this a 2.5km walk is where you get to see where it all started for Singapore, from the former residential area of the Malay Royals.

There are 5 trails for you to choose from that are about 1.5km each - totaling up to a 3.8km trail. This 50 hectare park was specially created to allow visitors to experience first hand how the kampung days felt like. 

The Stream and Ferns Trail allows visitors to appreciate the freshwater habitat in Thomson Nature Park and observe the wide variety of ferns and aquatic animals present, while the Ruins and Figs Trail allows visitors to experience the heritage highlights of the Hainan Village through meticulously preserved ruins.

You may have seen this iconic teardrop-shaped observation pod before. There are many observation spots along the way where you can take a break or keep a look out for birds and other species.

There are 4 types of trails for you to choose from. Each track is ] measured at around 300m to 1.9km where you can spot all sorts of wildlife. Maybe even crocodiles at a distance. Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is Singapore’s first ASEAN heritage park spanning at 202 hectares.

In this 57 hectare freshwater marshland, you can catch a glimpse of the amazing and unique biodiversity in one of Singapore's largest freshwater marshes, featuring one of the best raw views of nature yet. 

Despite it being the perfect area to take in and enjoy the island's wildlife, the trail is quite rugged and deemed unsuitable for beginner hikers and younger children.

The iconic, preserved Rail Corridor is a former railway line at Bukit Timah that went 24km from the North to the South side of Singapore. You can trek alongside the railway lines and take a look at the scenery it unfolds.

Officially the largest nature park in Singapore is Chestnut Nature Park. It's divided into North (3.5km) and South(2.1km) areas at 81 hectares total. It features distinct, well-marked hiking and mountain bike tracks.

There are twisting slopes and a pump track where motorcyclists may practice their tricks. You can complete the route in three to four hours, and along the way, you'll observe uncommon fauna as well as undiscovered streams and lakes.

Within its 75 hectares, the Dairy Farm Nature Park offers a variety of hiking and bike routes. The Wallace Education Center, a former cow barn converted into an educational gallery, is located there and serves as the location of Singapore's first community nursery as well as a number of other educational facilities.

To learn about the park's diverse range of flora and wildlife, set off on the 2.2KM Wallace Trail. A popular location for photos! Singapore Quarry Wetland In the lake, try to identify fish and turtles as you go down the boardwalk.

The 163-hectare Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is also 163 meters tall. A "large proportion" of Singapore's natural flora and wildlife may be found in this forest atop the hill, making it a must-see for nature enthusiasts. Bukit Timah Hill, Singapore's highest hill, is part of this reserve, so prepare for a strenuous ascent.

Punggol Waterway Park has 4 distinctive themes and is situated in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood in the northeastern part of Singapore. The Green Gallery has a tranquil walking path that follows the park's natural terrain. 

You can also visit the Rope Bridge and Kelong Bridge to enjoy the beautiful views of the Waterway. Try out this 4km route close to Central Singapore. You're likely to stumble across other people while exploring because this region is quite popular for road riding, running, and nature path strolling.
